Marriage and Family Therapist

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist in Oklahoma and Kansas (LCMFT). I have over 15 years of clinical experience walking alongside individuals, families, and couples, as they pursue their therapeutic goals. I also have experience teaching and clinically supervising future clinicians both during their training programs and when seeking licensure.

The foundation of my therapeutic approach relies on co-creating a safe, supportive and validating space that allows for an honest exploration of your authentic self. I believe that you are the expert on your life and what is best for you, so my approach uses questions to help you understand what you want. I believe that change happens when you are able to be honest and open about your feelings and whom you want to be in your relationship with yourself and others.

I look forward to working together!

About Moving Forward Together Therapy and Consultation

Mission: To systemically empower individuals, families, and couples to keep pursuing emotional wellness through relationships with themselves and others.

Vision: To successfully provide behavioral health therapy services that enhance the emotional wellness and authentic living of individuals – children, teenagers, and adults - families, and couples through their relationship with themselves and others.

Values:

  • Sensitivity: We appreciate and respect the diversity and cultural aspects of peoples’ lives and consider the multidimensional aspects as a part of treatment. We strive to provide therapy services in a sensitive and caring manner that reflects the lived experiences of the families we work with.

  • Virtue: We walk alongside our clients as they determine what is right for their lives. We uphold clients’ rights and advocate for them both in and outside of the therapy process. We encourage and support clients as they seek the balance between the needs and wants in their lives, reminding them that they can only control themselves.

  • Integrity: We strongly uphold moral and ethical principles in our daily practices and delivery of therapeutic services. We know that clients entrust their wellness to our professional care and expect to be treated and receive treatment, in a manner that honors professional codes and standards.
